215- Sneasel

Back! It was a pretty good time. I was very happy to see my girlfriend, but sad I only had three days together. But we plan on attending Otakon together so that will be good! I also saw some old friends, which was a good time. And I only spent $40 while I was up there. The house is mostly cleaned up for whomever is taking it over from us.

Doing a t-shirt design for an old instructor of mine, so I will post it when it's done. I just need her feedback until I can go onto the final phase. Peace out!

214- Heracross

Heracross is pretty popular in the tournament scene, with endure/counter. Not really my favorite, but still, respectable.

Going away tomorrow. My plane leaves at 10:30 am, so no posting this weekend. So I will get out all of my news tonight. First, Invincible 10th trade is out. I don't know how I forgot to mention this yesterday. If you read Invincible, get it. It is awesome.

Second order of business, a new show Glee. I just finished the pilot. I am hooked. Though it is rather formulaic, there are some funny cuts and it has Journey. I'd watch anything featuring Don't Stop Believin'. Almost anything.... But yea, it has singing, dancing, a rival school, a jock that is too cool at the beginning but has a change of heart, the nerdy kids all with different ethnicities, and a handicapped kid that plays the electric guitar. Throw in some family angst and a sweet (but neruotic) guidance counsler and you have a show that will alst maybe two seasons or so.

Third. Team Fortress 2 is free this weekend. I will not be able to take part, but go get some achievments.
Fourth. A secret character in Punch Out! I won't spoil it, but it is all kinds of awesome.
Fifth. New Poison Ivy in Arkham trailer. I am so excited. The Collectors Edition has a batarang. How sweet is that?
Sixth. No wait, no sixth. I lied. Peace out!

So I guess I'm meeting up with my old roommates while I'm up in Rochester this weekend. Should be fun. Nothing new. May be doing a t-shirt design. Peace out!

212- Scizor

Okay. Show's over. I got to my favorite pokemon, so I'm done. Had a good run while it lasted.

Okay, just kidding. But seriously, Scizor is my favorite. I've been waiting through 211 other pokemon to do it. Well, Scyther was pretty good too. And Umbreon. Charizard. A few others.

Been doing a bit of writing. Well, typing... Also, another reminder I will be gone this weekend, so no updates. Maybe on Sunday night, depending on how I feel when I get home from Rochester. Peace out!

210- Granbull

A little homage to Punch Out! which is coming out this week. Poor little guy. Maybe he'd win if he had a pink jumpsuit like Lil' Mac. Probably not.

I finally got a 360. I sprung for the elite. It doesn't have the Jasper chip (Which in the store they assured me it did) but I'm not too worried. If it red rings, I'll send it in. Also, in three years, there will probably be releasing the next generation of consoles... I really just need it for Final Fantasy 13, Batman Arkham Asylum, Beyond Good and Evil 2, and maybe Team Fortress 2. It came with Fable 2 and Halo 3, not bad. Plus it looks sleek.

So far I've only played Fable, and it is good, though a few things get to me. One is the pathfinding. Sometimes you can vault over things other times, it won't let you. There is a lot of times where I seem to get caught on invisible walls... The leveling system leaves some to be desired, as the orbs system, while different, it too restrictive. I'd rather have more combos, more spells, etc. I understand they want to try to balance these out with the ranged combat, but still. Next I need a wireless hookup, as I don't have a long enough cable right now.

Exhausted. Been starting to draft a few things up for various comics. Work tomorrow. Sniper update for Team Fortress 2 has Spy stuff too! That's about it. Peace out!

208- Steelix

Even though I don't really use one, I do like the look of Steelix. Unfortunately, there was really only 1 metal coat, so I got Scizor instead, during the gold/silver phase.

Working late tomorrow and then on Saturday. Am not looking forward to it. I've been on drive up for the past few days, which is both good and bad. All right, peace out!

207- Gligar

So this session of indoor soccer is over. I had a fun time, and hope we do another session. I got three assists tonight!

Picked up the Ultimates 3. So far it is good. The art is very good. Some of the dialouge makes me cringe though. Stuff like, "He wasn't protecting her from the world, he was protecting the world from her." Gag. Oh well. Not much else. I'm working this weekend. Next weekend is my girlfriends graduation, so I will be gone for that. Also looking into the costs of Otakon. Flights are cheap, its just whether I can take of two days from work. Ah well, we'll see.
